North Richland Hills, TX (HONEST) - 2/2/2010
You know, its actually not that bad here.. I have lived in and around NRH/HEB for around 10 years and I LOVE HOW EVERYTHING IS SOO CLOSE BY. Its very close to Dallas and Downtown Fort Worth. If you are single and looking for an apt its around $550.00+ its close to a lot of places. A lot of restaurants are here, the mall (if you pay retail LOL), shops, grocery stores, there are 2 wal-mart's within 5 minutes from each other. There are always the (GOOD&BAD) of every place you live. Honestly North Richland Hills has A LOT TO OFFER. If you LOVE THE "NIGHT LIFE" as in DANCE CLUBS/BARS YOU WILL NEED TO GO TO DALLAS OR DOWNTOWN DALLAS IF YOU WANT TO HAVE FUN AND NOT END UP IN A HOLE IN THE WALL PLACE!! If you don't mind the Smaller Local places where people gather then I would check them out in DOWNTOWN FORT WORTH. I AM A CITY BOY. BUT I DON'T LIKE THE "CONGESTION" OF LIVING IN THE CITY so NRH is great. There are many places to go for shopping for everyday stuff besides the wal-mart, there is Read More

I've lived here for about 4 years. This is a pretty decent place to live. The only downfall is that it's next to Haltom City which is kind of scary. There are cops everywhere at night so I suppose I feel pretty safe. It's close to Ft Worth and not to far from Read More

Nice place to live if you don't mind the suburbs - 9/20/2007
North Richland Hills has an awesome cost of living. We live in an almost brand new three bedroom, two and a half bath, 2100 square foot house in a neighborhood with bike trails and parks, near a brand new library and elementary school. Our house cost $210,000 brand new. There is not a lot of culture here, but Dallas and Fort Worth are both about 30 minutes Read More

Eternal Sunshine and Little Else - 8/8/2007
We recently moved to North Richland Hills from Missouri and are enjoying the fabulous weather. It rained for a few brief periods for the first two weeks and then it has been warm and sunny. However, we feel that the housing is quite ugly and utilities are high. Electricity is over $50 a week for a three bedroom apartment. Every home is brick in earthtones and most are one story. It is easy to get lost because every residential street looks the same and it is almost perfectly flat. The main roads are lined with ugly strip shopping centers. People do drive faster around here, but driving can be a challenge. Slow drivers will block any given lane of arterial streets or highways at random. If you drive ten miles anywhere on the bypass, you will see someone going 100mph and someone going 35mph. People are very friendly, but I can't determine what they are so happy about, other than clear Read More
